During the Princess of Wales’ visit to the Home-Start charity in Oxford, the future queen spoke with one of the mothers about how this charity helps overcome the difficulties of early childhood. She said that meeting Kate Middleton was incredibly important to her.
“It meant so much to me to be heard. I never imagined that I would share my story with the Duchess, and she was so kind and genuinely interested,” she said.
The visit coincided with the launch of the organization’s training program for new volunteers, which is based on animated films released in August by the Kate Royal Foundation’s Early Childhood Center. These films show how everyday moments of closeness shape a child’s life.
